The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in either a corporate FP&A group that has provided a foundation in corporate finance and business strategy or a public accounting firm. Financial services industry experience (private equity or banking) is preferred.
In this role, the Senior FP&A Analyst/Associate will drive analysis around the annual budget process and related monitoring exercises throughout the fiscal year. While working closely with management, they will assist in the development and maintenance of Executive Dashboards featuring key operational metrics contributing towards the development of the organization’s long-term multi-year strategic plan; while incorporating real-time and planned changes to the business. Furthermore, the Analyst/Associate will support capital structure management exercises in conjunction with balance sheet and cash flow analysis.

Lead FP&A workstreams for portfolio company finance transformations.

Build robust reporting packages and create short and long-range financial models with a heavy emphasis on key assumptions driving the business.

Connect business systems to business intelligence and AI tools to help leaders make strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with portfolio company leadership and investors to identify opportunities for value creation during the investment period.

Assist with hiring and onboarding a full-time CFO or VP of Finance at the end of the transformation or stay on in a fractional capacity as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, and/or private equity, ideally at a portfolio company
- Experience creating reporting packages, budgets/forecasts, long-range modeling, and KPI dashboards
- Deep modeling experience in Microsoft Excel, including detailed revenue and cost builds, cash flow forecasting, and covenant reporting/forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
- Curiosity and eagerness to be at the forefront of future applications and tools that link finance, operations, and technology (i.e. GPT-4, Palantir, etc.)
- Knowledge of accrual accounting
