As the Senior FP&A Business Partner, you will work closely with our Retail Operations team, and you will play a critical role in driving business performance by providing financial planning, analysis, and decision support to senior leadership. You will partner with our CFO and the Director of Finance to develop and execute business strategies, while managing and improving the accuracy and effectiveness of the company’s financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

What You'll Do:

Business Partner to the Store Operations Department to develop and implement financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and provide ongoing support and analysis to monitor performance against targets
Analyze retail-specific financial data and key performance indicators such as sales per square foot, gross margin, and other retail operation metrics to identify trends and provide insights to drive business decisions and improve financial performance
Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and new business opportunities for our retail operations and franchise business, and communicate findings to senior management
Prepare and present financial reports and presentations for senior management, including financial statements, variance analysis, and retail-specific KPIs
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data and adherence to accounting policies and procedures specific to retail operations
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve business processes and drive efficiencies in our retail operations
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in retail finance to enhance knowledge and skills in the field

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in retail finance preferred
Strong understanding of financial statements, retail-specific KPIs, and financial modeling, with experience using financial software and tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations in the retail domain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and senior management in a retail environment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times in a retail context
