This dynamic position requires an experienced GL Accountant. The Accountant will process all payroll and benefits related transactions. They will also have responsibility for some ad hoc work.
Responsibilities:
Process USA, HK and Canada payrolls in GL when occurred.
Reconcile payroll activies with cash
Accrual bonus and commission per instruction
Accrual global PTO per company policy
Amortize prepaid bonus
Accrual BOD retainer fee and instruct AP for payment
Accrual insurance benefits under company policy
Accrual worker compensation
Prepare ME reconciliations
Prepare Payroll and benefits related FLUX
Manage, process and reconcile SBC related payroll tax
Prepare Lease related reports for SEC disclosure notes
Prepare manual checks
Other ad hoc items, as necessary
Required Skills:
Experience with ADP files and JEs
Basic understanding of SBC payroll tax and reconciliation
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong general ledger and Oracle internal control knowledge
Be able to prioritize work and perform multi functions on same time
Required Experience:
5+ years hands on GL management experience including month end close and account reconciliation
Extensive knowledge of Oracle including experience with the following modules: G/L, Cash Management, A/P,
Recently public, growth company experience desired
Education/Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Up to 130K
