Senior Hardware Engineer

Baidu USA, located in Silicon Valley, is looking for world-class engineers to join its IDG team a.k.a Intelligent Driving Group. The IDG team is aiming to develop advanced autonomous driving technologies which will let us transform mobility and improve the lives of billions of people. We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer with the strong automotive background to build one of the most reliable and advanced autonomous driving systems in the world. He or she will be pushing the autonomous driving system from prototype towards volume production.

Here is what you will do:

• Perform a full cycle of automotive PCBA product development (Specification, schematic, layout, BOM, manufacturing and lab bring up)
• Support DVT, EMI/EMC, Shock and Vibration and relevant validation process required by automotive industry
• Debug and failure analysis
• Evaluate performance, reliability and safety
• Cost analysis and optimization

Here is what we'd like to see in you:

• Familiarity with microprocessor, memory, high-speed interface, digital circuit, analog circuit digital, FPGA logic and DC/DC power supply design
• Ability to travel as required
