Position Summary

Responsible for supporting and partnering with assigned client groups and will act as employees’ initial contact within Domo HR. This role will help drive strategies, prioritize, influence, plan and implement key people initiatives to enable the business to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with clients by understanding the business drivers and challenges, engaging in creative problem solving and applying effective talent solutions to proactively address strategic and operational opportunities;
  • Leverage business acumen, competitive insights, external benchmarking, and internal data to inform decisions on org design, compensation practices, and engagement initiatives to retain the best talent;
  • Build manager capability and facilitate employee career growth by developing the skills and capabilities of our diverse, global workforce;
  • Serve as an employee advocate and counsel with executives and managers to address performance issues and optimize the productivity of individuals and teams;
  • Raises issues and work collaboratively to identify solutions that meet the needs of the client group(s), and will champion those initiatives within their client group(s);
  • Drives a high-performance culture in partnership with client group management;
  • Ensure compliance to and consistent application of HR programs, policies and practices within assigned client group(s);
  • Create a world class employee experience by partnering with Domo’s exceptional team of HR professionals to deliver innovative, impactful solutions including the Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards, DEI, Learning, Talent Management and our HRBP teams;
  • Oversee employee transaction paperwork, creation, submission, and filing;
  • Provides development training and coaching to management and individuals on policy and best practices as needed;
  • Champion Domo culture, vision, and values in personal work and interactions with others;
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience within human resources; preferably as an HR Generalist or Business Partner;
  • Experience with navigating complex organizations and with influencing initiatives to successful conclusion;
  • Ability to demonstrate progressive growth and increased accountability over time within current and past companies;
  • Ability to act as an internal consultant, make recommendations, determine organizational needs, and influence Talent Management strategy;
  • Experience working with senior leaders in a global organization;
  • Strong customer service focus;
  • Degree or certificate in HR, business management, or in a related discipline is preferred.
