Senior iOS Engineer
As we grow and scale as a company, we are looking for a senior iOS Engineer who can take our app to the next level and bring value to our core user experience team! Our user base is continuously growing and you will be instrumental in growing the nate app, with a particular focus on the user experience throughout. Together we care deeply about code quality, development culture, privacy and security, and ultimately solving real problems for people.
What is the core user experience? It is the overall app experience, including the parts of our app that explain what nate is and what it can do, helping users understand and use nate to its full potential. You will be working in a team that will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and we will value your input along the way! You will also work with and be a part of the wider iOS team!

What you will be doing:
- Collaborating in a cross-functional scrum team with stakeholders from product, growth, design, and backend
- Bringing to life designs (from tools like Figma) to the live iOS app

Pairing within iOS team to improve our internal systems and testing
- Care about crafting not only a great codebase, but also a great product
- A general understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG)
- Strong grasp of the core concepts required to develop production-ready Swift code
- Capable of giving and receiving detailed and constructive code reviews
- Experience with UIKit and Combine frameworks, and their design patterns
- Experience with Unit testing
- Able to use: macOS, Xcode, Terminal, REST, Git

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Animation / Design tools
- Experience collaborating with Product managers and Designers
- Some experience with AWS
