A Sr. IT Hardware/Network Technician contributes to AHF's mission by addressing and resolving any IT inquiries, problems, and requests to allow AHF to provide maximum quality care to our clients. This administrative, technical, and service resource provides critical support and IT customer service to users across the organization. This individual performs complex professional work with computer hardware, software, and network systems. This position manages, configures, and supports all systems to ensure continuous availability. This Senior level position provides the foundation for AHF’s technology operations and is the frontline for support.

• The Sr. IT Hardware/Network Technician installs and supports personal computers and network operations in accordance with IT Service standards; provides hardware and software planning and evaluation; provides problem solving and training for end users; and ensures systems efficiency and integrity. This position will liaise with third party vendors for repairs/replacement and resolve support calls that require vendor engagement. In addition, the individual will provide service and/or training via telephone, web/video conference, email, remote desktop, and face-to-face that enables employees to resolve technology issues with the information system tools that they have been provided.*
• This individual’s strong customer service skills, technical aptitude, and understanding of the IT needs of AHF users will be leveraged to ensure our employees are able to perform their responsibilities efficiently, productively, and effectively. The Sr. IT Hardware/Network Technician must develop a solid understanding of AHF’s applications, systems, and business requirements and be able to triage user support issues effectively leading to proactive resolution and/or escalation as necessary. Proactive communication, empathy, and a focused sense of urgency will be expected throughout the support request resolution process.*
