About the Role:
Reporting to the VP of Culture & Talent Development , the Senior L&D Specialist will support the design, development, and delivery of learning and development programs across the organization, particularly, for individual contributors. In this role you will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, managers, and senior leadership to identify learning needs and design/deliver training solutions that align with business objectives and a remote-first workforce. Specifically, you will implement eLearning, virtual, and instructor-led learning solutions and assist in building and maintaining learning content and resources in our LMS. You will partner with our peers and stakeholders across the People & Places team and business groups to create customized learning & development solutions to support target learning needs and talent management.
What You Will Do:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives

Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop appropriate learning interventions

Work with subject matter experts to develop training materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and other learning assets

Facilitate training programs for various audiences, including new hires, and individual contributors

Evaluate training programs and assess effectiveness through metrics and feedback from participants

Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and industry best practices

Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors to provide training resources and support

Strategically package learning solutions in various scalable formats to ensure our audiences will receive the most effective learning experiences

Continuously evaluate and maintain up-to-date learning material and knowledge content

Monitor and report on training program budgets and expenses
What You Will Bring:
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field

4+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

Experience developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences

Experience with e-learning and learning management systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated experience working with global teams

Experience with Workday Learning preferred

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $96,030 - 110,430, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits. .
