This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains machinery, repairs and diagnoses electrical and mechanical systems.
- Reads and interprets various electrical and mechanical system manuals used for machinery repair.
- Install, connect and diagnose various systems.
- Knowledge in machinery relative to punch/ heated forming presses, glue dispensing, tape casting, compressors, etc.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
- Assures that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum.
- Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
- Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Performs unscheduled maintenance during production on equipment.
- Works independently or with a team on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- 2 year technical degree or 3 years of experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with using software on manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
- Proficient computer skills
- Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems.
- Must be able to operate forklift, scissors and boom lifts up to 40 feet in height.
- Be able to understand and read schematics.
- Be able to have programmable logic and understand electrical circuits.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift 30-40 lbs.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting hourly pay for this role is targeted to be between $30.00 to $40.00.
