About the Role:

The On-Premise Category Development Sr. Manager will be charged with driving superior sales performance through the development, delivery, and presentation of industry-leading category insights for our customers. Use your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to help our Sales teams grow category, brand volume & revenue. This leader is accountable for driving insight-led presentations and forging internal and external relationships to think bigger and broader in what it means to win with draft, bottle, and innovation in bars and restaurants. This role is directly responsible for On-Premise category insights that drive the HUSA portfolio.


We’re looking for a strong, confident, engaging leader with industry and category (or shopper) expertise, with no fear in breaking down barriers and a determination to roll up sleeves to collaborate at the highest level. Strong financial & business acumen and the ability to quantify the financial impact on assortment decisions and promotional performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to LEADER for development & delivery of On-Premise category insights that helps to build the category and drive the HUSA Brands.
  • Deliver compelling STORYTELLING demonstrating ‘Why Heineken USA’ for draft, bottle, and innovation.
  • Develop the HUSA On Premise assortment strategy that demonstrates the POWER of HUSA’s brands.
  • Support development of On Premise Selling Tools (sell decks, sell sheets, scorecard, etc.).
  • Owns the BeerBoard data partner relationship – our Draught data provider for On Premise insights

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Relevant Experience
  • 5+ years Category or Shopper experience AND/OR On-Premise experience
  • Customer Facing
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Proficient in Consumer Packaged Goods industry insights tools such as Nielsen and IRI
  • Minimum 21 Years of Age (at time of hire)
  • Travel Required: 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPG / Adult Beverage Industry experience preferred

Compensation 125-130K Annually
