The Senior Manager, Contract Administration, is a key member of the Legal team, with responsibility for negotiating, drafting and advising sales, operations and other internal stakeholders with respect to all aspects of software license, cloud services, and professional services contracts. This position provides a great opportunity to work with an experienced contracts team and to interface with leadership across departments in a fast-growing company and in a high-paced environment.
The position will report to the Vice President, Contracts and Administration.
Responsibilities:

Partner with sales account executives in negotiating company’s customer contracts, including multi-million dollar license, cloud services, and professional services arrangements; serve as lead company contact for customer negotiations; draft or oversee drafting of customer contracts.

Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the company’s software and services offerings, services infrastructure, and applicable accounting (revenue recognition) rules.

Advise sales and services teams regarding customer contract interpretation and assist with contact dispute resolution.

Work on projects with legal and sales teams to address trends in contract negotiations and recurring contracting challenges in order to enhance contracting strategies and techniques.

Interface with other key company functions, including corporate legal, sales, finance and accounting, information technology, cloud operations, professional services and software support.

Working knowledge of data protection laws & regulations a plus.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in contract negotiations, drafting or administration (or equivalent), preferably in the technology/software industry

Master’s Degree or J.D. is preferred

Strong writing (including contract drafting) and oral communications skills
