Senior Manager, Corporate Advocacy

  • Manage disease awareness Corporate Advocacy activities and programs (Magnolia Platform programs including Meals at Home, Paws for Compassion, Meal Train, and Purpose in Planning).
  • Support Director of Advocacy in the expansion of the platform programs to support the Alzheimer’s and dementia communities including researching and managing new program partners, the development of new resources and materials, integrating employee engagement and hhc opportunities and working with partners and the creative agency to raise internal and external awareness upon program launch.
  • Oversee the current programs and manage the development of any new resources from development through partner review, CRC review and distribution, working closely with the creative agency and printing partners.
  • Manage relationships with all program advocacy partners including organizing and running update meetings, requesting, and managing feedback and SOW development and invoicing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Understanding of the communications function, including how internal employee engagement activities and external and social media communications, awareness campaigns and other PR elements can help achieve communications goals
  • Detail oriented, with strong writing, editing, researching and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative; adept at problem solving skills; exhibits tact and diplomacy
