As part of Cohesity's Finance Team, the Sr. Manager, Corporate FP&A will collaborate with the CFO and Head of Corporate FP&A to drive financial planning and forecasting. This person will serve as a key interface between Finance and the executive management team, work cross functionally to hone the forecast, metrics, and analytics, and play a pivotal role in setting the long-term financial directions of the Company.

This position will play an important role in driving process improvement and scaling our infrastructure globally. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and welcomes the opportunity to make a difference in building accurate and timely processes across a global organization.

The position requires strong financial reporting, planning, and modeling skills, an understanding of software subscription metrics (GAAP and Non-GAAP), and good business acumen. It also requires the ability to understand the big picture of the Company's financial model, while being very detail oriented with the analysis of Sales, Revenues, Operating Expenses, and Cash Flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial results to understand performance against plan/forecast and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments on all areas related to Free Cash Flow.
  • Build and enhance FCF financial models to monitor trends and key drivers and proactively recommend a course of action for risks and opportunities.
  • Help build reporting processes and drive ad hoc analysis, modeling, and data requests to provide greater insight to stakeholders, with focus on FCF and the link to OPEX.
  • Help drive the top FCF workstream initiatives to create the necessary alignment between different organizations and bring FCF back in line.
  • Be the subject matter expert on FCF and act as the point of contact between Corporate FP&A and all cross-functional teams.
  • Business Unit P&L Management
  • Oversight of company (functional/BU) spend management
  • Development and monitoring of key performance indicators, including retrospectives and remediation planning

Skills/Experience:

  • 8-12 years of financial experience, some of which were in mid to senior manager level positions responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A); direct FP&A experience in a public company or large enterprise a significant plus
  • Experienced in developing and presenting business plans, models, and financial forecasts to the Management
  • Skilled at synthesizing volumes of data into key trends, observations, and actions either written or orally
  • Experience in high growth/global environments and Enterprise high tech organization
  • Knowledge of key financial management processes as required in a scaling organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work on cross-functional teams, and communicate and influence at a senior management level
  • Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and, as needed, own building of complex models
  • Track record of driving business insights, actions, and accountability across organizations
  • MBA and/or CPA is strongly preferred

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

US Pay Range

$156,800—$196,000 USD
