Overview Of Position
The Talent Acquisition Leader will lead the Talent Acquisition team to develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness and scalability of best-in-class full lifecycle recruiting, hiring and onboarding strategies across the organization to support our goal of attracting, hiring and retaining top talent. They will partner with leaders to align these strategies with business objectives and will demonstrate strategic, operational, and tactical capabilities, while being hands-on in the leadership and implementation of recruiting initiatives, to enable Medifast, Inc. to attract, hire and retain the best talent.
Job Responsibilities

  • Leads, manages and supports the Talent Acquisition team with a focus on building and conveying the vision and structure for the Talent Acquisition function, creating and implementing strategies for proactive hiring, onboarding and resource management, project planning and prioritization and team development, mentorship and performance management.
  • Partners with the Total Rewards team on workforce planning to aid in developing and implementing proactive, efficient and effective recruiting strategies to create robust talent pipelines to meet current and anticipated business needs.
  • Builds strong relationships and collaborates with Senior Leadership to discuss recruiting strategies, recruiting metrics and status of hiring needs and progress on a consistent basis.
  • Empowers and partners with Talent Acquisition Team to consistently meet with hiring leaders, HRBPs and Compensation team to discuss feedback on candidates, status of positions, challenges in the recruitment process and identify future/additional recruitment needs.
  • In partnership with various HR teams, recommends and implements simple and innovative improvements to current programs, processes and procedures, to support an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Drives team development and ensures team has resources and support needed to be effective in their role.
  • Empowers Talent Acquisition team to educate hiring managers on interviewing and onboarding best practices.
  • In partnership with the Internal Communications team, develops employment branding initiatives to help position the Company as an "employer of choice" among active and passive candidates.
  • Partners with University Partnerships & Student Programs Manager to ensure leaders are embracing junior talent as part of their hiring strategy.
  • For identified roles, conducts full lifecycle recruitment.
  • Owns staffing agency partnerships and processes across the organization.
  • Stays current on employment legislation, laws, and regulation.

ScopeTeam of 6 direct reportsKnowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or similar field
  • 10+ years recruiting experience across various disciplines - Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, IT, etc. (Corporate and agency experience preferred), to include exempt and non-exempt roles
  • Proven people leadership and management experience
  • Proven experience in the successful design and execution of recruiting strategies, programs and processes
  • Outstanding project, program, change, process, and event management skills; highly organized, process-driven, detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to interact with all levels of employees and stakeholders and think both strategically and tactically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of follow-up and accountability
  • Capable of building strong partnerships internally and externally
  • Team player, flexible, adaptable, creative problem solver, ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work through ambiguity
  • Ability to travel domestically 10-15%
