Senior Manager, User Acquisition

Jackpocket is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and more, via their smartphones. We're creating a more convenient, fun, and responsible way to play the lottery by modernizing the $300B global lottery market with a mobile platform that everyone, including grandma, can feel good about.

Jackpocket is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, User Acquisition to help lead our acquisition strategy as we continue to expand the business. You will manage paid acquisition campaigns including strategic planning, campaign creation, and optimization across digital channels, including Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads, programmatic, affiliate and emerging digital channels. You will be responsible for managing and scaling cost-effective media plans to drive customer acquisition and achieve marketing KPIs. We're looking for someone who is data-driven, motivated, and a strong creative thinker.

Responsibilities:

• Manage mobile performance marketing campaigns across an array of digital ad channels including Meta, Google, Apple Search, Programmatic, & Affiliates - ex. campaign set up, optimization, and budget allocation
• Monitor, optimize, and report performance on campaigns across aforementioned ad platforms on an ongoing basis
• Meet new customer acquisition targets (CAC, LTV and ROAS) while managing an efficient budget
• Research, evaluate, and test new user acquisition initiatives, then analyze performance to identify the highest impact opportunities
• Work closely with Creative, Product, and Analytics on campaign development and testing
• Spearhead creative optimization reporting and analysis to the Design team
• Help ideate new news or product enhancements to help UA efforts
• Work strategically with business analysts to build dashboards to generate insights that can be turned into meaningful actions

Qualifications:

• Hands-on B2C acquisition experience with demonstrated proficiency managing multiple performance marketing campaigns (ex. Meta, Google, Apple Search, and other digital ad channels) at one time
• An analytical background with a bias for developing data-driven solutions
• Adept at distilling data into key insights and concisely communicating learnings & takeaways to others
• Demonstrated experience working with performance marketing and media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) and understanding of the utilization and relationship between them
• Demonstrated ability to own and optimize acquisition budgets
• Proven track record increasing and scaling customer acquisition while driving down customer acquisition costs
• Strong understanding of paid media attribution, fraud monitoring, analytical tools, testing and reporting methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-house experience
• AppsFlyer and Looker experience a plus
• Mobile app and web campaign experience a plus
• ASO/SEO experience a plus
• Experience working in a startup environment

The base compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000
