We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Marine Project Manager to join our team. You will have the opportunity to lead exciting projects of various sizes, including a billion-dollar construction project, the freedom to develop personally with private and public clients, and grow within the company.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage projects – both internally in COWI, with design partners and with clients
  • Participate in business development opportunities, including writing proposals
  • Develop and implement design best practices in areas of expertise, in addition, ensuring conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
  • Perform forecasting, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting for assigned project(s)
  • Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad and deep knowledge in the field of marine infrastructure
  • Prepare construction drawings, engineering reports, memoranda, and other documents, such as technical specifications
  • Perform/oversee construction administration activities along with performing site inspections and other tasks as required

On top of that, you will have:

  • A Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering
  • A Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, along with a minimum of 8 years of previous related experience in marine/waterfront structural design, construction, inspection, and rehabilitation
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management and as a technical leader with a proven ability to prepare proposals and review agreement terms
  • Efficient written and verbal communication skills combined with great interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to collaborate with staff located remotely and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

Base compensation: $110,000 to $137,000 for Oakland and Seattle locations only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location.
