In this role this individual will help the Marketing team to make effective decisions by providing informative market, segment research, data compilation and data analyses. With this key information they will advise us on key activities including the evolution of our overall strategy, customer engagement, and improved targeting of prospects.

Everyday you will systematically analyze all data collection and lead efforts to translate that data into meaningful insights that highlight opportunities for innovation, growth, and continued customer success.

To thrive in this role the ideal candidate is a combination of business intelligence analyst, data specialist, and marketer. This person is a strong collaborator and leader with a vision to influence process and decision-making efforts by credibly representing both the marketing and analytics points of view.

About the Team:

Illumio's Demand Generation team is searching for a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager who is passionate about using analytics to drive insights, strategy, and execution. They systematically analyze all data collection and lead efforts to translate that data into meaningful insights that see opportunities for innovation, growth, and continued customer success.

This individual will help the Marketing team make effective decisions by providing informative market and segment research, data compilation, and data analyses to advise key activities including the evolution of our overall strategy, customer engagement, and improved targeting of prospects that are a strategic and operational fit. The ideal candidate is a combination of business intelligence analyst, data specialist, and marketer - a strong collaborator and leader with vision who can influence process and decision-making efforts by credibly representing both the marketing and analytics points of view. You should be willing to roll up your sleeves, dig in, learn, problem solve, be creative and do what it takes to win the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and maintain data that enables us to define, set, and achieve the right goals for our business by using reporting tools to generate usable insights, analyze data, and perform root cause analyses to understand customer behavior and engagement.

  • Modify and/or implement repeatable and reliable businesses processes to improve and sustain effective data management to ensure quality and consistency of data used to drive key business decisions.

  • Own the definition, implementation, and tracking of Marketing Pipeline and Waterfall Funnel KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the models, processes and changes implemented.

  • Deliver data-driven recommendations, using data and insights to increase efficiencies across acquisition and retention marketing channels.

  • Coordinate with report users to understand data needs and the delivery of those requirements.

  • Be the marketing data champion – collaborate with IT team to optimize the Marketing data architecture leveraging entire MarTech stack.

  • Develop and maintain best-practice guidelines for data collection, attributes, definitions, usage, etc.

  • Partner with to combine internal data with external and qualitative data from market research and marketing agencies to better understand the "Why" of customer behavior.

  • Partner closely with Marketing leadership to uncover insights and assist in crafting strategies that optimize our lead generation efforts (volume and conversion) and update your analytical roadmap to maximize impact.

  • Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, Campaign Managers, Field Marketing, and other stakeholders to advise on historical data and extensive forecast modeling to make data driven decisions on Marketing ROI.

Experience:

  • 10-12+ years in Marketing Analytics or Marketing Operations; experience in B2B SaaS required.

  • Understanding of Marketing technology landscape, including MarTech, WebTech, Lead Routing/Scoring, journey mapping and attribution.

  • Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization

  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings, focusing on critical issues and measurable opportunities.

  • Experience applying experiments, attribution, and other measurement techniques to measure and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to conceptualize, plan, and document effectively.

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, project management and time management ability with a deadline focus

  • Emotional intelligence to navigate ambiguity, take initiative and work collaboratively to deliver insights, provide solutions to challenges and recommendations based on analysis.

  • Pro-active and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions.

  • Experience of working in collaboration with a diverse range of business functions and customers to drive change and achieve delivery.

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail to deliver high quality output.

Pay Range:

$159,000.00 USD - $191,000.00 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
