Senior Marketing Manager, Genetics and Novel Technologies

We are hiring a Sr. Marketing Manager, Genetics and Novel Technologies. The Sr. Marketing Manager, Genetics and Novel Technologies, will be responsible for planning developing, organizing and implementing global marketing strategies, brand campaigns, initiatives, tactical programs, and logistic planning to achieve sales targets and optimize Irvine Scientifics’ global business opportunities with Genetics and Novel Technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-range and short-range marketing plans utilizing and matrix business approach for regional implementation
  • Responsible for maintenance and growth of gross profit for the responsible Product Lines.
  • Significant travel globally to ensure alignment on product launches
  • Achieve revenue targets by measuring account conversions
  • Monitor key performance indicators for marketing programs and report the metrics to the Management Team monthly along with recommendations on new promotions
  • Recommending product/project modifications or improvements based on market research, sales personnel, market/customer feedback, process improvement, and cost [COGS] improvement.
  • Recommends and justifies new products, including market surveys, sales forecasting, and field test evaluations to support business proposals. Interfaces with consultants on new products.
  • Recommends product modifications or improvements based on marketing research findings, technical service work, sales personnel feedback, and customer input.
  • Develops new creative marketing programs, strategies, and tactics to ensure that all sales channels are maximizing opportunities to position ART Media product lines to achieve business objective.
  • Provide management and strategy support on all content development; copywriting, social, marketing, and marketing communications efforts to support ART
  • Maintain regular communication and contact with field sales personnel, , professional organizations, and customers to keep abreast of marketing trends and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing business activities.
  • Facilitates the day-to-day management of business initiatives in the appropriate markets.
  • Maintain a current and complete understanding of the assigned markets and assess trends/dynamics of the segments to position FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific proactively.
  • Gather competitive information and evaluate the potential of FUJIFILM Irvine Scientifics’ products.
  • Ensure that the sales force and distributors understand market plans to result in the successful implementation of programs.

Experience/Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Business. MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience with a technical background and/or sales experience appropriate to the specific needs of the product line.
  • 3 + years of experience in Assisted Reproductive Technology field
  • Basic understanding of the medical markets in Japan, Europe, and the USA. Rest of world understanding preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Product Development experience preferred.
  • Business partnerships/JV implementation experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.

For California, the base salary range for this position is $124,000 to $224,000 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).

Pay: $124,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
