Senior Network Technician

ECS is seeking a Senior Network Technician to work in our Albuquerque, NM office.

Job Description:

• Will be assisting with the network refresh, rack and stack equipment and help with migrations.
• Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LANL) wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
• May also design network and computer security measures.
• May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Required Skills:

• Experience with multi vendor network switchers and routers and ability to navigate within and make changes to the configuration.
• Operational knowledge of network management tools/systems
• Experience using Tier I & Tier 2 test equipment is needed.
• Associates degree in relevant discipline plus two (4) or more years of relevant experience; or in lieu of degree 7 years job related experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

• CCNA Certification
• ITIL Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
