About the role
The product team at Morning Brew consists of product management, engineering, and product design. We are a group of thoughtful individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a bias to action, strive to learn from each other, and level up ourselves and our teammates every day. We are a lean team within a growing organization, which means that each person is empowered with a large area of ownership and is expected to flex to help the team when emerging opportunities arise. The three pillars of product collaborate closely in pods, working to build and ship products in an agile fashion (though we are hardly purists!). We set lofty but attainable goals, and expect the highest quality of work from ourselves and each other.
Morning Brew is looking for a product manager of our B2B brands’ sites, newsletters, and experiences (including Emerging Tech Brew, Marketing Brew, Retail Brew, HR Brew, IT Brew, and more). We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in rallying senior-level stakeholders, creating focused success metrics and goals for products and launching delightful digital experiences. Product Managers at Morning Brew oversee planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product requirements, creating detailed roadmaps, and working closely with engineering, product design, analytics, sales, growth, and editorial to ensure the user experience and business goals are met.
What you'll do:
- Own the roadmap for the B2B brands (including HR Brew, Marketing Brew, Emerging Tech Brew, Retail Brew, IT Brew, and more to come), including managing the product development and backlog with engineering and design to build, iterate, and ship new web experiences, newsletters, and other products.
- Work in partnership with GM, editorial, sales, revenue, events, and product to deliver engaging new storytelling formats, innovative user experiences, and advertising to our audiences.
- Create and maintain detailed, end-to-end product roadmaps, in partnership with engineering and product design.
- Gather requirements and write user stories to maintain an organized, prioritized backlog of work.
- Partner closely with our editorial and growth teams to strengthen and expand our relationship with our B2B communities.
- Partner with UX researchers, other PMs, and team members to strategize on new experiences by using data, qualitative user research, and testing, specifically for B2B audiences.
- Deliver strategic updates to senior leadership on B2B verticals’ strategy and performance, and communicate product prioritization and roadmaps to stakeholders across the organization.

- Growth and analytically minded
- Ability to use research, data, your experience, and product instincts to identify the most impactful areas of focus
- Excellent project management skills, and ability to own a roadmap end-to-end
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communications
- Have a demonstrated ability to drive results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Knowing how to code is not a requirement, but through education or experience, you have the ability to work closely with engineers to evaluate different approaches to implementing product features, - weighing tradeoffs and other priorities effectively.
- Experience in media and content-based websites is a plus
What else are we looking for?

- Purposeful – We do everything with the highest level of thoughtfulness, preparation and focus.
- Empathetic - We are good, genuine people who embrace others' perspectives.
