The opportunity

Apiiro sits at the intersection of AppSec, software supply chain security, and risk management, empowering developers and security teams to more effectively and proactively secure modern applications. Our message is resonating: we won the RSA Conference Innovation Sandbox Contest for the "Most Innovative Startup" and were also named a Gartner Cool Vendor in DevSecOps.

Reporting directly into the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in Apiiro's marketing plans, from positioning and messaging to sales and partner enablement. The ideal candidate thrives at the cutting edge of creating customer-facing solutions, has a deep understanding of software development, security, and DevSecOps, is a confident and articulate presenter, a strong writer, and is ready to be a key face of the company. This is a completely new role with the ability to create, manage, and execute the Product Marketing function at Apiiro.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain positioning and messaging frameworks and personas
  • Research industry trends to proactively recommend messaging and content that will resonate with target audiences
  • Work with R&D teams to brainstorm and create compelling assets to educate the market and be used within demand generation programs
  • Analyze competitors and develop battlecards
  • Lead sales and partner enablement
  • Drive analyst relations strategy, participating and leading briefings

What You're About

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B security, preferably SaaS-based and within the AppSec or DevSecOps spaces
  • Enthusiastic about helping to build a game-changing company!
  • Ability to develop compelling messaging and razor-sharp positioning with a keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into value-based messaging that resonates with both business and technical audiences
  • Flexible, well-rounded, and with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator and creative thinker

Pursuant to New York City's Pay Transparency Law, if this position is performed from New York City, the current annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
