Senior Product Marketing Manager

Heap is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our product marketing team. The position will play a pivotal role in messaging and positioning Heap's solutions in the market. As a member of the Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for product and solutions messaging, product launches, and go-to-market strategy for both sales and product led motions.

Internally this role will require you to work closely with our broader marketing team to provide solution level messaging and content, product management on launch strategy, and enablement teams to ensure our story and messaging is reflected in our pitch and communications. You will report directly to the VP of Product Marketing. Externally you will be an advocate of Heap to our business users, which includes digital marketers (responsible for customer acquisition), product managers (responsible for customer adoption), and customer success managers (responsible for customer retention).

The ideal candidate has proven experience working with complex technical products, is a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, a data-driven mindset, and ability to influence and drive initiatives across cross-functional teams. Solutions messaging and go-to-market strategies shape the way the market perceives Heap and our products and this role is critical for shaping that perception.

Responsibilities include; but are not limited to:

  • Creating solutions messaging and positioning for Heap's target personas and markets that demonstrates an understanding of market challenges
  • Own and manage the go-to-market strategy for product launches
  • Partner with the growth team on product messaging and positioning for Heap's product led growth motion
  • Deliver content and tools that effectively advance our prospects and customers through the buyer's journey (solution pages, solution briefs, blogs, webinars, white papers, playbooks, presentations, demos, ROI models, etc.)
  • Use customer evidence, market and competitive intelligence, and product performance data to represent the voice of the customer
  • Understand the product inside and out, the competitive space, as well as Heap's place in the wider ecosystem to position our products in the voice of the customer.
  • Work closely with the enablement team to understand the needs of our GTM teams and assist in content development and training on our solutions, products, personas, and messaging
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns driving new business
  • Partner with the product team on product launches, and contribute to product roadmap and strategy

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience in B2B software, with at least 4 years in Product and Solution Marketing
  • Familiar with product analytics, web analytics, and/or experience with complex technical solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating solution marketing content and presenting both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated success in driving and completing multiple projects simultaneously and setting priorities, in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with synthesizing complex problems and differing points of view
  • Proven track record of delivering results through cross-functional teams, in a highly matrixed environment

For New York City-based candidates, the base pay for this role is anticipated to be between $155,000-$190,000. The anticipated base pay range is based on information as of the time this post was generated. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications, and experience.
