Senior Project Manager - Hybrid

Act as a strategic change agent to drive the management and delivery of key initiatives to support the growth of Homesite-CONNECT by process improvement, implementation, and development. The Project Manager will work closely with Customer Service, Billing, Claims, Policy Operations, outside vendors and IT providing expertise in ensuring that key development milestones are achieved.

Compensation Minimum:$91,200 / year

Compensation Maximum:$152,000 / year

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage proper Project Management frameworks to plan, organize and coordinate the project execution efforts including but not limited to resource management both of immediate team members as well as cross-functional resources.
  • Work with IT and Operational Stakeholders to deliver upon key Enterprise technology and strategic Operational projects, and ensure that Operations’ requirements are properly developed, communicated, and delivered.
  • Execute results through a structured, project management methodology while maintaining a flexible approach as priorities shift over time.
  • Ensure delivery of end-to-end solutions for Operations and ensure that changes are communicated and managed throughout the lifecycle to ensure adoption.
  • Use continuous improvement methodologies to map current state processes and value streams.
  • Participate in the transfer of knowledge of methodologies and best practices to peers and colleagues through collaboration, mentoring, and formal presentation and consulting.
  • Provide recommendations to Executives in formulating operational strategy and tactical plans, taking into consideration technology and operational capabilities, as well as regulatory issues, and other business considerations.
  • Manage the delivery of projects with a propensity to “roll up your sleeves”, understand the operational aspects of the content being delivered, and maintain the highest standards in quality.

Required skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 plus years of project management, and/or process improvement work experience with demonstrated increasing responsibilities. Advanced degree a plus but not required. PMP certified candidates will be strongly considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with executives, such as CEO, CFO, and CIO on strategic direction setting and decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and accomplish goals across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Previous experience leading technical/IT implementations and rollouts will be necessary for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills are critical – both written and verbal. Translating technical concepts into layman’s terms to influence at all levels of the organization will be necessary in this role.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data and present clear recommendations based on results.
  • Must be proficient in Power Point, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of project management software will be necessary in this role.

This position is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office.
