In the Senior Revenue Operations Analyst role you will maintain source of truth KPIs and revenue forecasts while performing ongoing and ad hoc analyses that support increasing revenue. You will drive strategic business decisions and facilitate operational improvements across Revenue teams. As part of the RevOps team, you will support our Revenue organization by managing end-to-end revenue reporting, performing territory and quota planning, managing sales commission payments, and measuring performance against our KPIs. This position will have a particular focus on optimizing customer success processes and metrics.
A day in the life of the Senior Revenue Operations Analyst will include developing and delivering performance metrics, completing ad hoc reporting requests, and maintaining the integrity of existing reports and dashboards. This role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Operations and Marketing in measuring and aligning on Revenue KPIs.
What you’ll do:
- Drive revenue strategy and performance measurement across Sales and Customer teams through the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis, data mining, and presentation of data
- Develop visually compelling and informative, action-oriented reports and dashboards incorporating historical trend analysis and identification of opportunities to drive continuous improvement
- Develop sales territories and quotas, while managing commission planning, processing and reporting
- Manage revenue forecast processes while enhancing and refining the processes that support ongoing data reporting
- Monitor customer lifecycle for areas of opportunity and operating efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on process and data needs, including gathering and sharing requirements and validating results
What you should have:
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in financial planning and analysis, revenue operations or sales operations reporting and analysis
- Build and execute on standard operational reporting cadence utilizing key metrics to drive forecast accuracy, iterate models and identify areas of opportunity
- Demonstrated skill in using data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and make strategic recommendations.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Salesforce.com for front-line revenue generating teams, as well as building reports in Salesforce.com
- Highly skilled in using Excel to generate data sets and visualizations, and experience in using data to tell a story to executive leadership
- An analytical mind with the ability to tie business needs and desired outcomes to the data
- Self-starter motivated by intellectual curiosity
- Innate confidence coupled with a focus on winning together, and not on your own agenda
- Self-motivated in a remote environment with the ability to work independently while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
- Skilled in building strong relationships across an organization and communicate complex information
- A team player who is comfortable in a human-centered organization
- A four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required
