Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)

The Sales Development Representative is the first personal contact for interested companies (medium and large enterprises) to accompany them in the first steps on the way to becoming a potential new customer of our People Analytics platform. You will talk to potential new customers about the introduction of digital HR and data-driven processes and you will be in constant contact with various companies (1,500 – 100,000 employees). By carrying out needs analyses with companies from a wide variety of industries, you get to know these enterprises in various sectors.


As our SDR, you'll be playing a crucial role of breaking into new accounts and fostering relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments. You understand the impact that you'll create to the bottom line. The day-to-day role includes collaboration with the wider sales, marketing and customer success team to identify new potential customers and leads, and qualification of these leads by learning about their approach to onboarding.

Responsibilities


  • Owning the early stages of the sales process - generating and qualifying new sales leads
  • Research, identification and approach of new potential customers
  • Building relationships to establish an engaged dialogue with our target customers
  • Educate and develop leads through inbound or outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails (sequences), Inmails, events, webinars, and assorted campaigns.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.
  • Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each lead generation process, supporting marketing activities, prospect touch-points, and the handoff to an Account Executive.
  • Development, implementation, and improve strategies for outbound lead generation
  • Collaborate with and learn from our experiences sales team and help build out our world-class Sales Playbook (aligning the Seller and Buyer journey) and Tech Stack (e.g. Zoominfo, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Hubspot, Loom).
  • Preferably, you have 5+ years of relevant working experience in the B2B area (e.g.: software sales, call center, talent acquisition, event management, etc.).
  • Self-starter who enjoys autonomy and creativity, and who is up for hands-on work.
  • Team player who enjoys working with others.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit/experience with a strong growth mindset.
  • Creative and sparkling presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English. Fluent in Dutch (written and verbal) is a plus.
  • You have a way with words and can write email copy and sequence campaigns that convert.
  • You are passionate about software products and ready to work with them
  • You identify yourself as an active listener who communicates purposefully and is always proactive
  • You are adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • You are an active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows
