Senior Service Analyst

Manages day to day operational service providing technical support and co-ordination
Manages and continuously improves service management processes.
Implements change management activities in-line with organisational policies and governance.
Partners with key stakeholders and business partners to identify, investigate and mitigate service related problems
Reports on and monitors service metrics
Builds and maintains productive stakeholder relationships
Supports Manager Service Management with implementing supplier, risk or compliance activities.

You will be responsible for providing end to end technical support for payments systems of CBA focusing on payment acquiring services. You have accountability of providing proactive and reactive support to application and operational issues across payments platform at workplace and also while being on-call roaster along with the team. You must be a strong technical person in mainframe and preferably connex application.

  • Advantage if you have Payments acquiring subject matter expertise
  • Overall 6-8 years of mainframe technology experience with minimum 2 years of experience in application support, development/ testing or business / system analysis role in Mainframe and Connex systems (optional).
  • Extensive experience in Mainframe IT Infrastructure , Operating Systems (Z/OS), Software (CICS, DB2, MQ), VSAM, JCL and Cobol & Good to have Assembler programming knowledge
  • Good understanding of network level middleware integration and support (MQ, F5, Firewall, TCP/IP ).
  • Desirable to have working knowledge for monitoring tools like Splunk , AppDynamics, SolarWind etc.
  • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills with technical and functional understanding of payments landscape
  • Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision
  • Experience with systems analysis, application support and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Service management framework (incident, problem, change management ) Exposure/working knowledge of ServiceNow tool
