About the app

Arcadia Console is the core of our cutting-edge healthcare data platform. This application is tailored for power users, offering real-time data monitoring to assess the health of the entire system while ensuring providers can deliver care more effectively. 

Key features include data orchestration telemetry, data cataloging and terminology management, performance monitoring, and application configuration. These capabilities allow users to manage their platform while maintaining privacy, compliance, and ensures seamless integration with the vast myriad of other systems that Arcadia connects to.

Additionally, the console supports a variety of configuration and management needs for other Arcadia applications, making it a versatile and valuable tool for internal teams + super users to leverage & administer applications.

What Success Looks Like

In 3 months:

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the product's architecture and design.

- Assist in the development of features across the product's multiple software components.

- Participate in meetings with product owner and other team members to design new features.

In 6 months:

- Demonstrate a deep technical understanding of the product, its supporting technologies, and the interactions between its components.

- Play a key role in the design and development of more complex and impactful features.

- Participate in code reviews and testing of new features

In 12 months:

- Identify opportunities to eliminate technical debt, improve development practices, and increase operational efficiency.

- Take the lead in designing and developing critical product features.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with other engineers on technical designs, code reviews, and feature development to create APIs that leverage mission critical operational data and provide web UIs to leverage those APIs.
• Utilize AWS resources to process real-time events
• Create automation test suites to ensure the quality of the web application.
• Maintain continuous integration artifacts for the deployment of modules.
• Provision AWS resources using infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with other teams and customers to integrate new features into the application.

• Example Projects

• As a member of the Arcadia Console team, some of the projects you will be working on include:
• Providing self-service channels for customers to manage configuration for their Arcadia products.
• Enhancing existing features that provide visibility into the current state of customers’ data health.
• Implementing features to provide monitoring and orchestration for data processing jobs.

What You'll Bring

• Expertise in REST API design and implementation using Python.
• Expertise in Vue.js web development.
• Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience writing unit tests using Pytest.
• Experience with data modeling in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, writing complex SQL statements, and optimizing database performance.

Would Love For You To Have

• Healthcare experience and familiarity with EHRs
• Experience creating automation tests using Cypress.
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt
• Working knowledge of JSON Schema
• Experience using CI tools.
