Senior Software Engineer - Data

About the role:

Our data engineering team is our “Special Ops” team that is responsible for taking raw information and turning it into actionable insights. We are looking for experienced data engineers who have an interest in investing and private capital markets.

Members of this team are expected to be able to quickly translate the questions of Aumni’s customers into answers using data engineering best practices combined with their own ingenuity. This position is responsible for architecting, building and maintaining the data warehouse behind the Aumni application.We believe that quality code is paramount and we build it with stringent testing, code reviews and linters.

This position is for Salt Lake City (Cottonwood Heights), UT or 100% remote.

What you'll do:

• 2+ years working with data warehouses
• Advanced SQL
• Pipeline infrastructure & orchestration
• Python

Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following:

• Apache Airflow
• Data modeling
• Large dataset manipulation
• Snowflake
• Venture Capital/Private Equity
• Snowflake
• Docker/Kubernetes or containerization in general
• Microservices architecture
• Security testing best practices and tools
• Stress testing and scaling services
