The Senior Software Engineer will mentor, coach and lead development teams throughout all stages of the development life cycle. Alongside a team of skilled professionals, the Senior Software Engineer will analyze, research, and solve highly technical issues to provide the best possible solution to meet and exceed product and customer specifications. This individual will work to remain current on new and emerging technologies and make recommendations toward innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Serve as a team lead contributing to and directing efforts of the team toward efficient product delivery.
· Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive project status.
· Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components
· Remain current on new and emerging technologies, best practices, and processes and make recommendations as necessary.
· Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
· Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management to achieve success.
· Assisting in sales inquiries, product and user group conference demonstrations and presentations.

What You’ll Bring to the Table
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field or a combination of education and experience.
· Expert-level understanding of .NET platform, as well as select programming languages such as C#, MVC, HTML
· Experience with common application complexities such as inheritance, abstraction, serialization, multithreading, exception management, deployment, and unit testing.
· Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
· Exposure to cloud computing within platforms like AWS or Azure.
· Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique technical issues ranging across multiple products.
· High level of understanding of development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance and the impact on the business at each stage.
What’s Good to Know
· Occasional Travel, usually no more than 10 days per year
· Occasional on-call/after-hours support, participating in an on-call rotation.
· Hybrid role, in office 2-3 days per week.
