Senior Software Engineer II

About the role
The Senior Software Engineer II will be responsible for building highly responsive web applications, API's and services to enhance the EON Product Cloud. We're asking that all applicants have the skills to prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, have a proven track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills.
This position reports to the EVP, Engineering.
U.S. Based Salary: $160,000 - $220,000
What you will do
- Write structured, clean, reusable, and testable code using React/Material UI
- Provide technical documentation for all systems as needed
- Rapidly develop prototypes for new features
- Test own code and peer-review output from fellow developers
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Work with the architecture group as necessary to implement the best company approach to a problem
Additional qualifications and considerations
- Proven track record in building scalable solutions
- Minimum 8 years of experience as software developer
- Proficiency with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Proficiency with cloud-native architectures that utilize SaaS and PaaS models, especially Azure
- Some experience with applying AI/ML in solving business problems at scale is a plus
- Experience with large scale consumer level datasets (multi-billion transactions/interactions)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A self-starter with a strong desire to increase efficiencies and make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team
