Amazon Security is looking for a Senior Space Planner Program Manager to support a fast-growing and geographically-expanding organization and work program. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day global space planning operations for AWS Security and Stores Security. The role will be based in Seattle, WA.
You will operate as a true business partner to senior business leaders, finance, HR, Recruiting, GREF and support teams throughout AWS Security and Stores Security for a rapidly growing work program that spans multiple locations. You will have ownership of space planning, requiring the ability to operate at a tactical and strategic level and coordinate complex projects. You will simultaneously act as an internal ambassador, educator, planner, and implementer. You must have a proven ability to plan-ahead, manage time effectively, and have passion and in-depth knowledge of Property & Facilities Management Operations. You have the ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment, operate with a high degree of ambiguity, earn trust with key partners and react with appropriate urgency to emerging situations. You also understand the importance of being approachable: fostering transparent external relationships and balancing frugality with creativity.
The successful candidate has a track record of working with senior business leaders and a high level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information. Success in this position will be demonstrated by increasing space planning efficiency and improving customer experience by planning for the business, individual teams and employee needs in advance of growth while streamlining efforts and tools. As a Space Planner Program Manager you will work with teams to carry out new processes following a systematic and repetitive methodology with strong attention to accuracy.
Responsibilities include:

Work with Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team on weekly engagement and space for new hires.

Be a subject matter expert on security posture and zone security classifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as HR, IT, Corporate Security, Recruiting, Operations, GREF, and Workplace Strategy to track hire rates, seating capacity, and planning for future growth globally.

Coordinate and manage office moves for internal re-stacks & building moves successfully with outstanding customer service globally.

Coordinate with real estate and facilities contractors of maintenance activities to oversee projects and ensure schedules are completed on time.

Conducts site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports;

Establish and maintain open, positive relationships with team and customers (AWS Sec and Stores Sec employees).

Keep team informed, educated and updated on pertinent moves, construction & implements satisfaction surveys.

Manage logistics for off-sites, summits and team events.

Responsible for managing small operations-based projects

Partner with teams to complete physical space audits and related data updates.

Report all matters relating to the sites, risks, projects, budgets and details to Senior Leadership when needed to/and as agreed in the reporting cadence and structure of special projects.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
