We are looking for a bold, senior-level state filing analyst who is eager to join us in creating the most loved car insurance product on the planet.

As part of the Insurance Operations team, you’ll work closely with our Insurance Product, Actuarial, and Underwriting experts to project manage, assemble, and submit auto product filings for state department approval. You’ll also support product development initiatives by researching competitor filings and products, understanding and communicating state regulatory nuances, and devising filing strategies and timelines.

The starting base range for this position is between $65K and $90K per year. Base pay is one component of Lemonade's total compensation package, which will also include equity in the form of RSUs, access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with company match, robust PTO, parental leave, and more.

In this role you’ll

• Manage communications with state regulators
• Navigate state regulations and objections with an eye on swift approval
• Build and maintain core business dashboards and databases
• Leverage industry experience into improved process efficiency and accuracy
• Coach and mentor junior analysts

What you’ll need

• 4+ years of state filing experience (personal lines preferred)
• Knowledge of SERFF and familiarity with state filing requirements
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
