Senior Strategist, Business Development

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Write and design proposals and presentations for new business meetings
• Conduct research to support proposals/RFPs and develop creative strategies
• Research and identify RFPs for the agency to respond to
• Build outbound call list and curate contacts
• Be the expert on 5W capabilities and services and serve as the front line for incoming leads
• Maintain and document client and lead contact information as well as contact activities within database
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Assist in the creation of case studies and other various content writing for 5W
• Demonstrate a collaborative, hard-working, team spirit

Here’s what you have:

• 4+ years of related experience- Public relations experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Journalism, Marketing or Communications
• Knowledge of business development process within a PR and/or Marketing firm, and/or experience in the technology sector
• Excellent writing skills with the understanding of grammar, AP style writing, and technical writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign preferred)
• Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with staff
• A problem-solver who is detail-oriented, flexible, and decisive
• Quick learner willing to work in complex industries
