Senior Technical Program Manager

Senior Technical Program Manager

About the Role

  • DriveWealth is building the exchange of things and the future of embedded investing where you can trade anything, anytime and anywhere. You will be part of the PMO which reports into the Chief Product Officer, and will be responsible for delivering best-in-class products to millions of investors worldwide. You are a natural at leading and know how to cut through the noise to keep teams focused on execution and delivering results. You have mastered the TPM craft and are eager to learn, share and grow with the team to drive operational excellence at scale. This position requires breadth of experience and depth of knowledge working with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, Marketing and Business Leaders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You Will

  • Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives that may vary from simple to complex, multi-phase programs from strategy to end user adoption.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to develop project plans, estimate work efforts, identify dependencies, and resource plans to successfully develop the product or capability.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Sales, Marketing and Business Leaders to develop go-to-market plans to successfully deliver the product or capability to the end user.
  • Set high achieving goals with clear objectives and deliverables for the team, holding yourself and others accountable.
  • Guide the teams proactively against goals so that outcomes are always on time.
  • Anticipate change in advance and adopt a flexible approach to mitigate risk.
  • Provide clarity on priorities, define trade-offs and communicate options to Business Leaders when needed.
  • Understand technical implementation at the architecture level.
  • Lead discussions and drive decisions with actionable outcomes.
  • Drive collaboration and communication across teams and stakeholders.
  • Focus on outcome, not just process.
  • Create metrics and measures to show and communicate initiative progress and success.
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole by increasing engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.

Must Haves

  • 7+ years of technical program or technical product management experience working with multiple cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing) in software development
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management concepts including:
    • Product lifecycle management
    • Software development lifecycle (agile scrum and hybrid-Waterfall)
    • Go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to apply project management frameworks to the right scenarios.
  • Ability to compete and manage multiple, simultaneous initiatives.
  • Ability to see synergies across programs to deliver more faster.
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships across all levels of the organization that lead to successful product delivery.
  • Succinct and clear communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with ability to adjust style to suit the audience.
  • Ability to quickly get to the core of an issue and plan a path forward.
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize own and others work.
  • Detailed and actionable documentation skills.
  • Ability to build a sense of team remotely.
  • Proficient with related software and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, G-Suite, Slack).

  • Experience delivering full-stack applications
  • Experience with Jira Advanced Roadmaps
  • Experience in FinTech
  • Experience in data analysis, metrics tracking, and OKR or V2MOM reporting
  • PMP
