Job Duties:

Implementation and testing of Nokia Shared Data Layer–SDL (cloud native database for telco cloud applications.).
Onsite installation and configuration of One-NDS database and all related components.
Preparing and managing new Firmware, SW Upgrades, new feature testing, acceptance tests on HPE Gen8 and Gen9 Blades in live network.
Staging of the loT lab.
Testing of protocols, including Diameter, SOAP, XML, and the following of 3GPP Standards.
Automation of test cases via J Meter tool.
Secure deployment of new systems without service and call interruptions, significantly decreasing time and cost of SDM deployment.
Staging the Performance lab, together with developing and executing performance test cases, and reporting on results.
End-to-end (E2E) call testing and troubleshooting, as well as troubleshooting emergency calls and related reporting.
Designing and developing Test Sets for Regression Testing, including creating proprietary Method of Procedure Documents for end-to-end testing.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a closely related field.

Experience: 5 years’ progressively responsible post-baccalaureate software development experience.

Alternative education and experience requirements: In the alternative, the employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a closely related field plus 3 years’ software development experience.

Qualifying experience must include at least 3 years of experience in each of the following:

Installation of RunTime Environment, SDI Managers, as well as diagnostics during installation and configuration;
Configuring Data Network on Pluribus switches;
Configuring Management Network on Juniper switches (EX3300, EX4300, EX4600);
Managing Storage and Computer units after installation (Dell and HPE hardware);
NvOS Firmware upgrades on Pluribus switches to the latest level preparing upgrade procedures;
Creating and maintaining jobs in the Jenkins environment, as well as test reports, smoke test, STL-Stop The Line;
Managing resources using Simple Linux Utility for Resource Management (SLURM) in order to provide the framework for starting, executing, and monitoring work on the allocated nodes;
Zuul to drive continuous integration, delivery, and deployment systems;
Automation of test cases and reporting tool using TestLink;
Using TestNG and Junit test frameworks for Unit Tests;
Preparing Detailed Study with proposed solutions for new feature development;
Reviewing System Study prior to development process;
Ensuring new features and software comply to 3PP, security and other software development standards;
Ensuring that solutions work as designed and don't affect existing features and systems;
Directory Server PGD, OneNDS Administrator ADM, System Monitor SM, Front-end and Back-end nodes configuration FE/BE;
Tieto Telecom Cloud Development;
