Senior UI Developer | VUE.js

Fast-paced, high-growth digital marketing company serving the automotive industry seeks top-tier VUE.js talent for our Senior Frontend Developer role.

Ideal candidate will have ability to carry out assigned tasks with limited need for supervision, work well in a fast, agile, and fluid environment and possess strong problem-solving skills, as well as consistent attention to detail.

This is a full-time, salaried, remote position headquartered in Herndon, VA. Direct hire ONLY, no contracts/1099. Candidates must reside in the continental U.S., eastern or central time zones highly preferred (must be willing and able to work eastern operating hours). Please read qualification requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create web application front end applications as per design mocks and information architecture
• Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Add to the engineering team’s culture of high code quality
• Engage in requirement specification process for new software functionality
• Ensure design consistency with the client’s development standards and guidelines
• Guide and maintain developer teams and best practices
• Develop new user-facing features working closely with our U/X team
• Involved in extensive development with Javascript, HTML5/XHTML, Bootstrap, CSS, SCSS, JSON, jQuery, Ajax and XML
• Responsible for coding, testing, and modification on existing and commonly used by different libraries
• Engage with the Product Owner to understand and address the requirements
• Experience with microservices architectures and building graphically rich interfaces
• A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology (a 4-year bachelor’s degree is acceptable) - OR - expertise in above subject matters matched by experience
• 5+ years of experience developing applications using VUE.js (hard requirement, applicants without VUE.js will not be considered)
• 5+ years of experience developing applications using various web technologies including Angular, jQuery (Core/Validator/UI), Twitter Bootstrap (3, 4)
• Must have strong knowledge of jQuery, JS, GIT / Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of OO design, standard web design patterns, and MVVM / MVC modelling, JSON, XML
• Good knowledge and hands-on in browser-server interactions
• Expertise on browser rendering performance
• Hands-on experience in consuming REST-based web services applying Ajax
• Knowledge of Mobile / Hybrid application development, Ionic, React Native, etc.
• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
• A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies
• 5+ years of experience working closely with .Net development team, a plus
