What you'll do

You are a research leader. You define the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for UX research in the US

Your work is focused on medium-to-large goals and research projects that span multiple customer segments and/or teams

You work independently with limited guidance

You partner with PMs, Designers, Engineers, and commercial and client-facing teams to deliver meaningful insights that inform product and design direction, and impact business outcomes
-
You are able todistill clear customer needs from large, diverse data sets (e.g., behavioral/telemetry, survey, qualitative interviews/usability, etc.) to provide inputs that solve complex business problems.

You help senior leaders understand the decisions they have to make and collaborate with partner teams to identify options and/or recommendations.

You build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and peers across teams and geographies
-
You proactively identify and inspect existing mechanisms for sharing user insights to increase their adoption
-
You create scalable mechanisms to evaluate solutions end-to-end and inspire others to also think about the holistic experience
What you'll need
-
5+ years of experience leading UX research projects with demonstrated impact, handling all stages of research design (study design, test creation, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).

5+ years of experience with different research methods including: field research, usability, and survey design
-
BS in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Design Engineering or related discipline.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

Passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users.

Experience working in with geographically dispersed teams
-
User research or other experience from a technical field, such as software development, or with automotive industry
-
The ability to manage ambiguity, lead research efforts autonomously, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

You reside in Eastern Standard Time.
