Hanover Research - Senior Workday Systems Analyst

Remote Opportunity
Hanover Research is seeking a Senior Workday Systems Analyst to provide development and support for multiple recently implemented Workday (WD) modules along with others on the roadmap to be implemented. You’ll serve as a technical lead and main point-of-contact for Workday capabilities across multiple teams including Finance and The People Team (Human Resources) to meet the company’s organizational and operational business needs. Along with helping users with system configurations, troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, reports, systems enhancements and administration, and other projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the HRIS partner supporting designated WD HCM areas in Workday, such as Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and more.

Provide consultation to the People Team (HR) and Accounting Team, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis

Act as a subject matter expert and offer consulting services to internal stakeholders on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) best practices

Configure, create, and build Workday Advanced Reports, Dashboards, Calculated Fields, Security, Business Processes, EIBs, and Reports as a Service that support date driven decision making

Performs Workday administrative functions including implementation of new modules, security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, user management, integrations, feature testing and upgrades

Perform hands on configuration and updates (ranging from BP updates, security, new plans, custom validations, and condition rules) to the various Workday modules as needed to resolve issues and enhance feature requests

Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities

Coach power users on Workday functionality and ensure they are using workday to the fullest

Serve as PM for future phase implementations (benefits, performance, T&E, etc.)

Be the primary point of contact for WD customer support, implementation partners, and other support as needed

Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday

Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other teams to roll out sustainable solutions

Assist in testing of integrations, security, and annual events

Maintain inbound and outbound integrations with internal systems and outside vendors

Make sure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, Locations)

Participate in scheduled and ad-hoc training to improve policy and process acumen

Ensure that integrations are functioning as expected and create/run Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) as necessary

Support Legal compliance and reporting requirements such as; EEO, AAP, OFCCP reporting requirements

Make recommendations to improve current programs and processes by maintain awareness of industry trends, knowledge, and best practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of configuration experience with the Workday Product Suite, with expertise in following product/process areas:

Core HCM (Required), Benefits (Required), Report Building (Required), Business Processes (Required), Security (Required), Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking

Creating custom dashboards and workforce analytics
-
Nice to have (but not required) Workday Core Financials, Procurement, Financial Planning, Integrations using WD studio

Experience in coordinating and leading cross-functional team projects independently

Advanced report writer and dashboard experience

Proven experience creating a diverse range of complex calculated fields
-
Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills; VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas

Experience developing and supporting complex eligibility, validation, and condition rules, would be highly desirable

Workday certifications are a plus
Education

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Human Resource Management, or a related fields is preferred but not required

Compensation
Hanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair. The compensation range for this role at the company is $100,000 - 120,000. Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our base pay range is determined by the role and the market.
