Production Coordinator

Job Objective:

The Production Coordinator acts as the primary producer for all production-related initiatives within the Creative and Communications Department. This role is responsible for meticulously planning production schedules and assessing the resources, time, budget, and manpower needed for each project. The coordinator ensures smooth execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams, maintaining production timelines, and upholding high-quality standards to support strategic communication goals.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Develop and manage comprehensive production schedules for various projects.
  2. Assess and allocate necessary resources, including equipment, staff, and materials.
  3. Prepare and maintain budgets, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
  4. Collaborate with team leads to determine project scopes and deliverables.
  5. Oversee production timelines to meet deadlines and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  6. Coordinate with creative team members to maintain alignment on project vision and expectations.
  7. Ensure efficient use of manpower and assign tasks according to project requirements.
  8. Act as the main liaison between the Creative and Communications department and production related external parties.
  9. Monitor progress of projects and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  10. Identify potential production risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  11. Maintain a high level of quality control throughout the production process.
  12. Facilitate clear communication among team members to address and resolve any production challenges.
  13. Prepare post-production reports and analyze project outcomes for continuous improvement.
  14. Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and compliance standards in all production activities.
  15. Manage production workflows, ensuring efficiency and streamlined processes.
  16. Support creative problem-solving and troubleshoot unexpected production issues.
  17. Maintain organized records of production schedules, budgets, and correspondence for easy reference.
  18. Observe and adhere to the Company’s established safety standards 
  19. Perform any other related function as assigned by the Creative & Communications Manager.

  • Proficient command of the English language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Project management and organization skills.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • At least three (3) years related experience in communications strategy development.
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
