Position Description

Job Title - Software Engineer IIIJob Requisition - 8058.133.18Job Location - Herndon, Virginia

Job Duties:

Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems. Provide input as Appian product expert for teams working on Robotics Process Automation (RPA), SQL, and web services. Support multiple environments through maintenance and deployments. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Mentor and guide the team for developing best codes and provide innovative solutions and provide additional support needed by the team. Work with business stakeholders to identify problems and design solutions. Develop technical documentation such as detailed design documents and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). Effectively communicate with various stakeholders such as architects, business users, other technical teams, and senior leadership. May telecommute.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field, and 5 years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineer related position.
