SUMMARY

MasterControl, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join the growing Customer Services Data Operations department. The ServiceNow Developer will report into the Strategic Operations & Data Analytics department and will work cross-functionally with the rest of the organization to drive internal processes to support the ServiceNow posture. You will have a direct impact on the organization and products it produces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the ServiceNow Development Team to design, architect and maintain solutions in the CSM and ITSM products.
  • Work as a strategic business partner with stakeholders to foster strong communication channels to discuss business needs and system solutions
  • Clearly communicate expectations, updates and timelines throughout the development process
  • Assist the helpdesk team with complicated user reported issues, including SSO connections, User Management and improvements to the helpdesk processes.
  • Identify existing process deficiencies within ServiceNow and develop tracking and reporting to ensure system stability.
  • Assist in the development of the custom service portals for customer and internal processes.
  • Assist in migration efforts from legacy workflows to flow designer solutions.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Relevant CMDB/Configuration Management experience
  • Experience with the ServiceNow CMDB and how it supports other ITSM processes (e.g.: Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Mgt.)
  • Ability to give and receive feedback as part of a cohesive agile squad
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, and continuous learning mindset
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work well with people.
  • Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail.

Certification:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
