ServiceNow System Administrator

About the job:
The Red Hat IT team is looking for a dedicated ServiceNow System Administrator to maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow
Platform. This position is part of the ServiceNow Platform Architecture and Support team in the Service Management Office. The ServiceNow Administrator performs platform maintenance, manages support related to ServiceNow applications, and contributes to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features.

As ServiceNow Administrator you will work in a fast-paced Agile environment supporting the ServiceNow Platform FedRamp Instance for Customer Service Management (CSM) application. You will administer and support multiple ServiceNow instances to meet the unique business needs of our users and developers. You will work with cross functional teams including architects, business analysts, developers, product owners and other stakeholders to understand, and provide solutions across different applications on the ServiceNow Platform.
What you will do:
  • Configures and develops on the ServiceNow Platform FedRamp Instance including routine changes or configurationadjustments as requested by Red Hat associates
  • Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain the ServiceNow platform
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of ServiceNow applications
  • Collaborate with Platform and Delivery teams to perform ServiceNow Upgrades and Patching. Coordinate system updates across different instances, ensure latest patches, and configuration changes
  • Assist with report configuration, dashboards, and maintenance and performs operational administrative tasks, as needed
  • Actively collaborates with other teammates to perform code reviews, discuss new developments and projects, and shadow other junior admins/developers as needed
  • Support the administration for Production and non-prod instances
  • Collaborate with the Production Support and ServiceNow Operation team to monitor support cases.
  • Document administrative processes and issues resolution
  • Participate in the daily scrum meeting and other related Agile ceremonies
  • Responsible for performing daily administration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform for any reported problems across all instances
What you will bring:
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or must have valid work authorization in the United States
  • Minimum 3+ Years' experience with ServiceNow Platform Administration
  • Experience with Customer Service Management (CSM) Application
  • Minimum 3+ Years of experience with Application Experience: Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge, Service Catalog, ITOM/CMDB
  • Strong experience in system administration
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience diagnosing performance related issues
