Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead

Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) which manages the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio. This portfolio is composed of 300+ afloat and ashore IT systems/applications with 150,000+ users across all Naval Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Naval Operational Forces (NOF) to include ships, carriers, submarines, USN/USMC aviation squadrons, and Naval Expeditionary Forces. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a joint user of LOG IT capabilities and is part of the program requirements. LOG IT enables essential business operations for various capability groups.

This role will support modernization programs which support a large scale enterprise software implementation. This role is critical in ensuring smooth adoption, minimizing resistance, and driving engagement across stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies. Additionally, experience with Articulate 360 is required to design and develop engaging e-learning materials that support user adoption

Job duties would include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement Organizational Change Management (OCM), including the following:
    • Develop an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Plan and coordinate all aspects of communication activities.
    • Train and educate on OCM in the areas of implementation, trends, techniques, and case studies.
    • Support the Government in performing activities according to the communication plan to establish and enhance the customer experience, using principles and techniques of change communications as directed by the Government.
  • Change Management Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement a structured change management plan aligned with the project goals.
    • Identify key stakeholders and assess change impacts across various business units.
    • Monitor and address change resistance through targeted interventions.
    • Ensure business process changes are documented and communicated to the proper stakeholder groups.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Develop and execute communication strategies to inform, engage, and prepare stakeholders.
    • Craft compelling messaging using modern graphical design and engaging platforms, such as Articulate 360, for newsletters, FAQs, executive updates, and presentations.
    • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to promote adoption.
  • User Readiness & Adoption:
    • Develop user adoption metrics and track effectiveness of change initiatives.
    • Provide coaching and support to leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure continuous feedback loops to improve change efforts.
    • Manage the Community of Interest(s) for all modernization programs via collaborative platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline
  • Currently holds DoD Interim Secret clearance
  • Minimum 8 years expereincing implementing change management across large DoD organization
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and management including faciliating workshops to promote adoption
  • Experience with Articulate 360

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Navy Logistics Systems
