Responsibilities

RTS and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a motivated salesperson to join our Business Development team. This sales position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new accounts for RTS. This role will focus on selling to new customers while developing and growing existing accounts in the assigned region. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious and dynamic sales personality. 
 
  • Source and develop new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain new and current customer relationships
  • Negotiate business terms to maximize profitability
  • Effectively present and explain RTS products and their intended value to prospective clients
  • Cross-sell multiple solutions to maximize yield, consistent with strategies set by senior management
  • Manage and maintain a robust pipeline to achieve monthly sales goals
  • Participate in strategic planning, including corporate positioning, competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans
  • Assess market potential, competitive pricing and profitability for existing business models and develop documentation for new models
  • Assist in product marketing, including product launch management, new business development, presentations, sales tools and competitive analysis
  • Continually refine processes to stay in front of customers in relevant industries
  • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications 

      • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of business development experience required
        • 5+ years of business development experience preferred
      • Demonstrated record of success providing professional, solutions-based sales over the phone
      • Experience with high call volume (cold calling) and face to face sales.
      • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with a multi-product line
      • Attention to detail with an interest in comparative and value analysis
      • Passion for success and contributing to the long-term growth of the organization
      • Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment
      • Bilingual skills with fluency in English and one of the following languages is a plus (must be able to speak, read and write both languages with business vocabulary to be considered fluent):
        • Spanish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Urdu, Amharic, Mandarin, Korean, Ukrainian, Arabic, Russian or Uzbek
