Unison, a leading provider of acquisition management solutions for the federal government, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior SharePoint Developer to join our team. As a Junior SharePoint Developer, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the development of solutions that empower organizations and enhance collaboration among team members.
Responsibilities:
SharePoint Development
Collaborate with the development team to create and customize SharePoint pages using modern features, leveraging the SharePoint Online (SPO) modern look.
Work on web parts, layouts, and configurations to enhance the user interface and user experience of SharePoint sites.
Modern Page Creation
Assist in creating and maintaining modern SharePoint pages, applying responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices.
Utilize the latest features and capabilities available in SharePoint Online to deliver visually appealing and functional pages.
SharePoint Content Management
Help manage and organize content within modern SharePoint pages, ensuring the content is well-structured, easily accessible, and meets accessibility standards.
Troubleshooting and Support
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to modern SharePoint pages, including performance, layout, and compatibility problems.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to ensure smooth page operation.
Documentation
Contribute to documenting the process of creating and maintaining modern SharePoint pages, including best practices, guidelines, and design patterns.
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing among the development team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of SharePoint development concepts and technologies.
Familiarity with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint functionality.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow in SharePoint development, with a passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
