Automation Controls Technician
Shearer's is the company behind all your favorite snack brands, producing over 800 million pounds of snacks per year. They are looking for a Maintenance Automation Controls Technician who will manage and maintain automation equipment.
Skills
- Electrical troubleshooting
- PLC programming
- HMI troubleshooting
- Rockwell hardware familiarity
- Robot programming understanding
Responsibilities
- Execute tasks in a safe manner
- Perform advanced troubleshooting functions using PLC and HMI code
- Ownership of regular program backups
- Perform assigned maintenance tasks
- Develop and train maintenance personnel
- Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades
Education
- Five years of industrial experience in maintenance or related field
