HR Generalist

Shearer's, a leading contract manufacturer and private label supplier in the snack industry, is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team at the Brewster Plant in Ohio. The ideal candidate will drive employee engagement, compliance, and development initiatives.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in HR or business
SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred
2+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or distribution
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Experience with HRIS systems

Responsibilities

Manage onboarding, payroll, and benefits support
Engage with hourly workforce to foster a positive culture
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Partner with Operations Leaders for effective onboarding and training programs
Lead retention and rewards programs

Education

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
