Sr. Project Manager

SheerID is looking for a dynamic Sr. Project Manager with a track record of success in working with Marketing Agencies and other partners and our customers in implementing joint solutions for their SheerID programs.  Reporting into the Chief Customer Officer, you will work collaboratively with our partners to guide clients in their marketing product implementation from initial scope through to development and launch. You will manage customer deliverables and timelines with the partner and customer stakeholders as well as be responsible for clearly communicating blockers and opportunities between the parties.


This collaborative role is key to the success of the SheerID customer and with our marketing partners supplying the services to our customers so communication, rapport building, organization, forethought, and marketing knowledge are imperative for your success.  Your internal partners within the CX and Sales organizations - including the professional services team - are here to support you and our customer every step of the way so a willingness to work as part of a larger team is a key skill set for this position.


1. Customer Goal Alignment:
  • Understand and clarify the customer’s goals to ensure our solutions meet their needs.
  • Set realistic delivery expectations in alignment with customer goals and our marketing partners' capabilities.


2. Project Ownership:
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from client discovery, project creation, strategy support, to campaign execution.
  • Ensure timely and complete delivery of solutions.


3. Coordination & Implementation:
  • Coordinate resources from SheerID, strategic partners, and customers for smooth implementation of community marketing products.
  • Collaborate with partners and vendors to manage customer implementation and ensure full delivery of SheerID’s marketing products.


4. Project Scope and Objectives:
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.


5. Status Reporting and Escalation:
  • Regularly report on project status and escalate issues to management when necessary.


6. Campaign Metrics and Handoff:
  • Work with the SheerID account team to understand, measure, and drive appropriate campaign metrics for customer success.
  • Effectively transition the project to the Customer Success Manager (CSM) upon completion.


7. Communication and Documentation:
  • Lead regular status calls with customer teams to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.


8. Process Improvement:
  • Utilize your project management and marketing experience to provide critical input for improving internal processes and products.


9. Additional Duties:
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the team and organization.


Required Skills / Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 -10 years of work experience in Project Management, preferably within a marketing organization or agency.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in marketing projects.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and customer goal alignment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resources effectively.
  • Proven ability to show a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Self-directed; able to complete work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience and passion for providing an outstanding customer experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and drive campaign metrics.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Experience in process improvement and internal process development.
  • Proven ability to show a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira are a plus.
  • Active project management certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP and/or PMP preferred.
  • Preferred experience with client integrations and REST APIs.
  • Background in SEO, Google AdWords, affiliate marketing, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Analytics Certified preferred; Salesforce, Looker.
  • Familiarity with media-buying, planning, and research.
  • Familiarity with both native and programmatic advertising.
  • Highly proficient in all major social media ad platforms.
  • Interest in following advertising and media trends.
  • Experience working in a marketing/advertising agency required.
