The Sales and Management Training Program at Sherwin-Williams is designed to prepare candidates for a Store Management role in 18-24 months. This accelerated, entry-level position offers the opportunity to progress to an Assistant Store Manager with successful completion of the initial training.The position involves overseeing a million-dollar business, providing leadership, and contributing to the development and strategy of the store. Candidates will also be responsible for selling to large commercial users, thus growing the company's market share.The program provides comprehensive training in management, professional sales, and leadership development. Candidates can expect limitless career opportunities and professional networking while gaining all the necessary skills for a successful career at Sherwin-Williams.• Complete training consistent with established program• Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service• Build and maintain knowledge of all products for effective customer recommendations• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actionMinimum Requirements:• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future• Must have at least a bachelor's degree• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionPreferred Qualifications:• At least one (1) year experience in retail, sales, or customer service• Previous experience in a leadership role or leading teams• Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
