Senior Full Stack Engineer

Shift4 is a leader in commerce-enabling technology, simplifying payments ecosystems globally. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their high-velocity engineering teams working on a cloud native platform and strategic platform initiatives.

Skills

Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks like React.
Experience with Node.js backend development.
Understanding of Agile methodologies, preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Ability to troubleshoot and monitor AWS environments is a plus.
Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop new features and fix issues within the platform tech stack.
Diagnose and resolve system issues collaborating with DevOps and operations teams.
Engage in platform modernization and technical debt resolution.
Collaborate closely with product teams and stakeholders for alignment.
Interface and coordinate across multiple engineering teams.
Contribute to process improvements with engineering leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
